A quick and easy system when a false chimney is required

Our NEW False Chimney System is so quick and easy to build.

Using The Stove Box also ensures your stove will get hotter quicker and stay warmer longer, using less fuel and benefiting the environment.

The False Chimney Breast System

There are many reasons for wanting a false chimney breast in a no flue situation. New homes do not often have a chimney or maybe you are just wanting an electric feature in the room, as new houses tend to be warm enough.

This obviously is a cheaper option because there is no need for a twinwall system which adds to the cost. Another situation may be an external chimney that is not big enough for a chop out, so a false chimney breast can be built in the room creating a larger opening. The new flue liner is then dropped down the existing chimney and connected to the top of our Stove Box, before insulating. We have carried out many of these installs over the years.

So with all this new information, we are updating our site with new photo’s and information to help customers choose their customised package.

**We have introduced a new taller SB1 Stove Box, which is adjustable in depth**

Make sure you use the Stove Box when installing a stove.

The Stove Box pushes heat back into the room, keeping it hotter for longer, making your stove even more effective. It will also ensure your stove installation is compliant. Is comes in various sizes and is included with the False Chimney Breast System.

Our new system is our best yet!

We have been building false chimney breasts in various materials for over 10 years.

This new system is our best yet and by installing it with our other successful product, the Stove Box, it has other heat retaining benefits to. We have proved our system not only protects the plasterwork from cracking by sending heat from the stove forward into the room and not up the chimney, but it also ensures very little heat is lost through the back wall, keeping your room hotter, for longer.

Installers are using many systems throughout the UK, ie. wood framework, blockwork, etc some with success others causing many problems.

It consists of 5 pre-made frames, corner braces and is then built around your choice of Stove Box, making a safe, sturdy new chimney breast. It takes less than 1 hour to fit, and is ready for the new flue system, which can go up and out through the back wall, or up through the roof connected to the top of the Stove Box. It's also ideal for a balance flue gas stove.

We are also testing a new system at the moment that is a larger and higher opening with a solid oak beam. This is required to meet the new regulations. It incorporates our NEW TALLER and ADJUSTABLE IN DEPTH STOVE BOX... See here for more information.

Last year we designed a new chimney breast system for Wood and Multi fuel stoves after a visit by Hetas to view our existing Stove Box System. The new up-to-date false chimney breast kit is both safe, eco friendly and quick to install.
